Hi everyone, my name is John Percival. I formed Newave Arts 11 years ago whilst being on placement at Ingestre Hall Residential Centre.  I studied Audio Engineering and Music Production at Huddersfield University and have been playing the guitar for 27 years. 

As an individual that is passionate about the arts, I set up our organisation as a way to support Children and Young People access high quality creative learning experiences. I truly believe that the arts plays a crucial role in a young persons development and offers a brilliant way for enhancing learning in the classroom. 

My role within Newave Arts is to support with the strategic direction of the organisation as well as build on our new and existing partnerships both with Schools, Local Authorities and Music Education Hubs.
